We have  other members of staff who are either already level 3 qualified or are working training towards this.

We have recently joined the East Somerset Federation linking us with Bruton Primary and other local schools.
This has and will continue to benefit us with close relationships with all staff and will continue to allow us to extend our provision using their facilities.

We are located next to Bruton Primary School and have fantastic links with them and the reception teachers.
We use the school field nearly every day to exercise and use the climbing frames. This helps the children become familiar and comfortable in the school environment supporting their transitions.

We pride ourselves in providing a safe and happy environment where learning is a joyful and rewarding experience. We work alongside the statutory framework, Early Years Foundation Stage, to support children’s learning and development. We use encouragement and praise in work and play, which are the foundations for building self-esteem and confidence.

We take a holistic approach to learning, with walks and outdoor learning as well as being able to be a part of the community through visiting the library and putting up displays.

Our aim is to help your child extend their social and communicative skills by sharing and caring for others, coping with emotions, expressing their opinions, broadening inquisitiveness and an awareness of the world around them. We are very privileged to be located next to Bruton Primary School. This enables us to help the preschool children get use to their new environment aiding a smooth transition from our Pre-school to Reception. We also are able to drop off and collect the school children enabling families to be with us for a longer period of their child’s life.
